Arrests of Civilians – 21-06-2014

Jenin – The Israeli forces arrested four young men from Jenin refugee camp and raided several houses. They confiscated computers and files from the headquarters of the Islamic Relief in Jenin and confiscated files from the headquarters of the student unions in the Arab American University after storming the campus for the second day. The Israeli forces arrested four young men from the refugee camp of Jenin, they are Asa’ad Mohammed Statiey (22 years), Ashraf Mohammed Al-Qaisi (21 years), Yazan Adnan Al-Hidy (21 years), and Mohammed Sae’ed Abdullah Sweity (21 years), after raiding the homes of their families and tampering with their contents, they raided the homes of Aziz Al-Many, and Ibrahim A’teiq.

Bethlehem – The Israeli forces arrested at least 18 citizens, including 16 in Tekoa town, east of Bethlehem. The occupation forces stormed Tekoa, raided houses, and tampered with their contents. They arrested Amir Salim Abd Khalil, Akram Musa Jibril, Samir Mohammed Amour, Khalid Mohammed Al-Badan, Asa’ad Dawoud Al-Badan, Saud Muheisen Al-Badan, Samih Ahmad As-Sabah, Ayman Talab Musa Jibril, Kamel Abdullah Al-Badan Al-Badan, Mohammad Issa Alkawazbih, Jamil Atta Jibril, Basim Samih Al-Badan, Sami Aziz Al-Badan, and Mohammad Khalil As-Sabah, Shariff Saud Al-Badan and Sabri Musa Jibril in Abu Anjame area, southeast of Bethlehem. The Israeli forces also arrested the citizens: Ibrahim Moussa Salahat and Wael Salim Salahat.

Hebron – The Israeli forces arrested three citizens after an attack by a group of settlers on their homes in the old town of Hebron. Dozens of settlers from the so-called ‘Kiryat Arba’ settlement and outposts built on the lands and properties of the citizens in Hebron city, attacked a house belonging to Faraj Abd Ar-Razzaq Ghaith, in the old town and they attacked on his family by severe beating causing injury of a number of family members with cuts and bruises. They were treated in the field. Following the settlers attack, the occupation forces arrested the citizen Ghaith and his two sons, Ahmad (28 years), and Omar (24 years old) and took them to ‘Ja’barah’ interrogation center adjacent to the settlement of Kiryat Arba ‘east of Hebron city.

Hebron – The Israeli forces arrested at least 12 citizen from Hebron Governorate, south of the West Bank. The Israeli forces continued their aggressive procedures against the citizens in Hebron city and the towns, villages and camps of the governorate. They arrested each of Adnan Mohammed Eid Az-Zaru (35 years), Ya’qub Sohail Ju’beh (15 years), and Ashraf Isaac Naruch after storming the city and searching dozens of houses and tampering with their contents.

Hebron – The Israeli forces arrested the citizen Ismail Talab An-Natah (35 years), from Ithna town west of Hebron, and Mohammad Ali Alhreinni, Mohammed Hassan Amayreh Alhreinna, and Farid An-Nawaja’ah from Yatta, and Mohamed Ismail Abu A’rqub, Hathaifa Mahmoud Taha A’wawda, and Hassan Ahmed Ad-Darawish from Dura.

Hebron – The occupation forces stormed Tarqumiya town, west of Hebron, and arrested Tariq Aziz Ghrayyib. They also arrested on a flying checkpoint near Al-Fawwar camp, south of Hebron, the citizen Mohammed Nasser Al-Masharqa.
Hebron – The Israeli forces arrested the boy Sami Suleiman A’tawneh (15 years) from Beit Kahil village and severely beat his brother Ahmed, after raiding several houses and inspecting them.

Hebron – The Israeli forces arrested a citizen from Hebron city, and fired tear gas towards the houses near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque. The Israeli forces arrested the citizen Samer Abu Mayyaleh on a flying checkpoint in Hebron city. The Israeli occupation forces positioned at a military checkpoint in Abu Ar-Reish area near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque fired tear gas towards the houses, causing the injury of a number of the citizens with suffocation, and they were treated in the field.
