The occupation lays the foundation stone of a new settlement near Ramallah

Israeli Tourism Minister, Yariv Levin, (Likud party), laid the foundation stone for Migron settlement, which is being built on Palestinian land in the West Bank. “We won, we are exercising our right on our land and this is only the beginning,” Levin said at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for this settlement.

According to the plan, 86 buildings will be built in an area neighboring to Kokhav Ya’akov settlement, near the city of Ramallah.

In parallel, Israeli Housing and Construction Minister Yoav Galant said that laying the foundation stone “means that the land of Judea and Samaria is a treasure that cannot be traded and not for sale or purchase. We have a parental right here along with the internal and external security needs.”
