Civil administration approves jurisdiction of new town for Amona

The civil administration approved today the jurisdiction of the new town for those evicted from Amona, Ynet reported.

According to the report, the plan was approved by the Coordinator for Government Activities in Judea and Samaria (COGAT) headed by General Yoav Mordechai, after approval was granted by the political echelon.

In addition to the land approved today for the new town, which is state land in the Shiloh valley of the Binyamin region, a new symbol is to be granted to the town.

However, Amona evictees are not satisfied with the developments, and are demanding that a general’s order be issued that will enable the establishment of a temporary town until the permanent one is established. This demand has, so far, been delayed.
