Israeli Decided to Expand the Settlement of Ifrat

On October, 2014, Israeli Ministry of Housing led by Ouri Arael allocated the sum of 850,000 Shekels for infrastructure (such as road building and other works) to the east of Ifrat settlement, a step of a plan to expand the settlement closer to the city of Bethlehem.
Haaretz newspaper said on Monday that the new old plan of expanding the settlement was a result of settlers pressure since 10 years to take over this area which they called “Eteem”.
