World Health: Israel rejects half requests for treatment from Gaza

The World Health Organization (WHO) published a report about the mechanism of the occupation state in dealing with the requests of the Palestinians in Gaza to go out for treatment to find that Israel rejects more than half of the requests for exit and prevent them from receiving appropriate treatment.

The figures published by the World Health Organization show that of 2,282 applications submitted in May 2017. Israel agreed to only 47%, while 21% were rejected and 50.7% did not receive an answer. Among those who were refused or did not receive an answer 255 children under the age of 18 and 141 over the age of 60 years.
