Settlers set fire to olive fields, south of Nablus

Nablus – 24-09-2017

Settlers set fire to dozens of olive trees near the Hawwara checkpoint south of Nablus today, Sunday.

Ghassan Daghlas, the Palestinian official responsible for the settlement file in the northern West Bank, said that settlers from the settlement outpost of Bracha set fire to dozens of olive trees.

During this month, as the harvest season gets closer on the Palestinian lands, settlers have escalated their attacks on Palestinian fields and carried out four olive-cutting operations and one burning operation in the Nablus area alone.
