Photos – A checkpoint of the occupation spoils the joy of two Palestinian brides

Occupied Hebron

The two brides, Mohammed and Nhal, crossed the checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Awwa town, west of Dura, on foot due to the Iron Gate with which the Israeli army closes the town and turns it into mass prison.

The gate, which is closed by the occupation on the southern entrance of the town, separates Beit Awwa from its surroundings, especially Al-Majd village from which the bride arrived.

The closure of the gate affects the human, economic and social life of the residents of the area and turns their villages into isolated ghettos.
