Pictures and Videos – Israeli Occupation Forcibly Displaces Palestinian Residents of Khan Al-Ahmar Compound

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 states: “The forcible transfer of Palestinian communities is a war crime. And all those involved therein – ratification or implementation – shall bear personal responsibility”.

Today morning, 4.7.2018, Israeli occupation forces arrived street No.1, adjacent to Al-Khan Al-Ahmar compound, accompanied by heavy vehicles. they started dismantling part of the metal barrier that separates the houses from the street, then continued to build a road leading to the compound, to facilitate the forcible transfer of its residents.

In addition, Israeli occupation forces arrived at 9:00 am at the Abu Al-Nawar area, in Ma’aleh Adumim area, accompanied by three bulldozers. Then demolished three agricultural buildings and nine housing buildings, leaving 62 people homeless, almost half of whom are minors.

at Earlier February, the Israeli Civil Administration attacked Khan Al-Ahmar and demolished two classrooms in the comprehensive school, which is attended by 25 students from the third and fourth grades. This school was built at the end of September 2017 funded by the Palestinian Authority and the European Union.

Israel has not yet made any effort to building a road to serve the residents of Khan al-Ahmar, who have been living there for decades. Such a road would facilitate the lives of residents and provide a safe path to their homes. .
