B’Tselem: Paramedic Razan Al-Najjar was Deliberately Killed by IDF Fire

In contrast to the many and varied narratives reported by the Israeli army spokesman, B’Tselem’s investigation proves the circumstances in which 20-year-old Ruzan al-Najjar was killed: a deliberate shooting by the Israeli occupation army resulted in her death and the injury of two of her colleagues. This happened when they were about 25 meters away from the  separation fence while They were dressing medical uniforms, so that they are easily recognizable. However, even in the face of these scandalous circumstances, the routine of oblivion ensures that there is very slight possibility that anyone did the crime will be held accountable.

In details, during the demonstration on 1 June 2018 north of Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis, at approximately 18:00, soldiers deliberately fired at Palestinian paramedics wearing medical uniforms, about 25 meters away from the fence. They killed 20-year-old paramedic Razan al-Najjar and wounded her colleagues.
