2600 Palestinians Were Arrested By Occupation Army During the First Half of 2019

The detainees are:

(410) minor children

(70) women and girls, including minors and elderly

Occupation army also arrested the two journalists Shatha Hammad and Ranin Sawafta during coverage of transferring people from the town of Hamsa in Northern Valley, as well as Ghadeer Amouri from Jerusalem, an employee in Prisoners Commission.

The first half of 2019 also witnessed an increase in the martyrs among prisoners up to (219), after two martyrs were killed as a result of medical negligence. The two are Fares Ahmad Barood 51-year-old and Omar Awni Younes 20-year-old.

Israeli authorities also issuing administrative arrests against Palestinian prisoners. Israeli courts issued (432) administrative, including (138) new detainees, and (294) prisoners whom sentences have been extended for multiple times.
