According to Haaretz newspaper: Israeli security sources estimate that those responsible for the attacks are young men, most of whom are between 14 and 19 years old. Many of them reside in outposts in the West Bank.
Israeli security sources estimate that a quarter of the cases that were described as “violent incidents” came out of Yitzhar settlement and the surrounding areas. The sources described Yitzhar as “the beating heart of the extreme right”, and they pointed out that it was the source of many violent operations against Palestinians in the West Bank.
