Settler Leader: We Must Be in Government to Fight Establishment of a Palestinian State

David Alhayani, chief of  what is so-called settlement “Yesha Council”, said that “Yamina party’s existence in the government is vital in order to fight the establishment of a Palestinian state”.

He added that “Unfortunately , the danger of a Palestinian state has not disappeared, so we can’t imagine a government at this time without Yamina party”.

Yamina party  has been an “early” supporter for annexation, and its politicians are the most communicators with settlements, more than any other party. This party opposes establishment of a Palestinian state, including a demilitarized state on 70% of the West Bank as proposed in Trump’s plan.

Alhayani also said “there is one central goal, the application of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, including the Jordan Valley”.
