27 Israeli Violations Against Journalists During May, 2020

Palestinian news agency “Wafa” monitored 27 Israeli violations against Palestinian journalists during May, 2020.

Wafa said in its monthly report about Israeli violations against journalists that Israeli occupation forces is still targeting and assaulting journalists in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on a daily basis, in the context of its systematic  policy of undermining their role and cover of practices and violations committed by Israeli forces against Palestinians and their properties.

The report said that the number of wounded journalists by rubber bullets, tear gas canisters, severe beatings, by Israeli soldiers, reached 11 injuries. In addition, the number of arrests, detentions and ID confiscations were 15 cases. One assault was recorded against institutions and press equipment.
