The occupation targets 10.291 trees, demolishes 715 facilities for Palestinians during 2022

The occupation army and settler gangs committed many violations against the Palestinians during the past year 2022:

Uprooting and vandalizing trees belonging to Palestinians:

The occupation army and settlers uprooted and vandalized 10.291 trees owned by Palestinians, including 354 attacks on olive trees, which resulted in the destruction of a total of 10.291 trees:

• 426 trees in Nablus Governorate
• 105 trees in Bethlehem governorate
• 678 in Hebron Governorate.

 

Demolition notifications against Palestinians

• 715 facilities were demolished and 1,220 others were notified to be demolished:
• The occupation authorities issued 1.220 orders to demolish Palestinian facilities.

 

The distribution of these notifications was focused in the governorates:

• Hebron (400 notifications)
• Bethlehem (225 notifications)

During 2022, the occupation authorities carried out a total of 378 demolitions, during which they demolished 715 facilities in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and 1.235 people were affected by that.

Confiscation of property belonging to Palestinians

The occupation carried out 223 property seizures, which led to the seizure of 294 Palestinian properties, including:

• 48 agricultural tractors
• 53 vehicles
• 26 trucks
• 35 surveillance cameras

18 caravans

The seizures were focused on:

• Tubas Governorate, 91 seizure operations
• Hebron Governorate, 44 seizure operations
