Far-right Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu,  in Netanyahu’s government, calls for bombing Gaza with a nuclear bomb

The Minister of Heritage in Netanyahu’s right-wing government, Amichai Eliyahu, said that dropping a nuclear bomb on Gaza is a possible solution, adding that the Gaza Strip must not remain on the earth surface, and Israel must re-establish settlements there. He considered that the war has costs for those he described as the Israeli “kidnapped ones”.

In response to a question in an interview with Kol Bramah Radio (local) whether Gaza should be bombed with a nuclear bomb, Eliyahu replied, “This is one of the possibilities.”

He added, “They (Hamas) must beg to return the kidnapped ones. What do “kidnapped ones” mean? In war, the price is paid. Why are the lives of the kidnapped ones more precious than those of the soldiers?!”

He said, “I hope to return to establishing Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip and go there with pride.”

Regarding Palestinian citizens, the minister says, “Let them go to Ireland or the deserts,”
