A B’Tselem investigation found that an Israeli soldier shot \u00a0a 9-year-old child in the head while he was playing at the entrance of the village of Kafr Qaddum on Friday, July 12, 1917 during a weekly demonstration held by the villagers. The child Abdul-Rahman is the last victim of the policy of permissive \u00a0shooting by soldiers, who also use \u00a0live ammunition \u00a0in situations that doesn’t represent \u00a0any danger to them or to others.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The report confirmed that the injury of \u00a0the child Shteiwi (9 years) is a direct result to the policy of unlawful shooting by the occupation army in the occupied territories, in which \u00a0it allows shooting Palestinians \u00a0without any justification and without representing \u00a0any danger to anyone. \u00a0B’Tselem’s report says that this policy has not changed despite the fact that its lethal results have been witnessed, with dozens of martyrs and thousands of wounded Palestinians.<\/strong><\/p>\n

B’Tselem warns in its report that: “If this policy does not change, it will not be long before the next victim”.<\/strong><\/p>\n
