The World Central Kitchen organization said that an Israeli air strike killed 7 of its employees in the Gaza Strip, despite coordination of movements with the Israeli army, and announced the cessation of its work in the region, until decisions are made regarding future operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The organization explained<\/a>, in a press statement, that \u201cour team was traveling in two armored cars bearing the organization\u2019s logo in an area far from conflict zones,\u201d adding that the incident amounted to \u201can attack on all humanitarian organizations\u201d at a time when food is being used as a weapon of war.<\/span><\/p>\n

She pointed out that “the convoy was hit when it was leaving a warehouse in the city of Deir al-Balah (central Gaza), where more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid that came through the sea corridor were being unloaded.”<\/span><\/p>\n
