“There Are No Innocents in Gaza, No Civilians”<\/strong><\/p>\n This statement was not made by a military commander, nor by a political opposition figure. It came from a diplomat\u2014someone who is supposedly tasked with conveying humanitarian and ethical messages through his position.<\/p>\n But it seems that the Israeli occupation state, from its highest authorities to its lowest-ranking officials, knows nothing but killing, destruction, displacement, and incitement against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n In the leaked video, Israel\u2019s Ambassador to Austria, David Roet<\/em>, is seen during a visit to the \u201cKultus\u201d district and a meeting with the Jewish community in the Austrian city of Innsbruck, in March 2025.<\/p>\n In the same leaked footage, Israel\u2019s former honorary consul in Austria, G\u00fcnther Feil Fulger<\/em>, is seen telling Ambassador Roet:<\/p>\n “I will play golf in Gaza, whether you like it or not. I am very happy to be here. I proudly represent the State of Israel.”<\/em><\/p>\n The Israeli ambassador responded:<\/p>\n “There are no innocents in Gaza. No civilians.”<\/strong><\/p>\n According to the video, Ambassador David Roet<\/em> also expressed support for imposing the death penalty\u2014even on Palestinian children.<\/p>\n The Israeli diplomat further admitted that Tel Aviv holds many Palestinian children in its prisons for years without trial.<\/p>\n Ambassador Roet also said: \u201cWill Europe be crazy enough to invest money in Gaza again? Because if it does, we will have to destroy it next time.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Such a statement does not merely call for changes in Israeli educational curricula\u2014it demands a complete overhaul of the political and social mindset<\/strong> in Israel, which is rooted in a culture of violence and denial of the other.<\/p>\n Those who make such statements should feel shame before the world.<\/p>\n
