These attacks are carried out with the protection and arming of the Israeli occupation forces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This statement was made in a report released on the sidelines of the 62nd session of the Human Rights Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The report explained that the occupation forces provide cover, weapons, and protection to settler militias as they commit grave violations against Palestinian civilians, including the killing of civilians, the burning of homes and agricultural lands, and the destruction and burning of civilian property, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and international human rights law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Commission called on all UN member states to uphold their international legal obligations, including compliance with the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, by ceasing all forms of dealings with illegal settlements and taking effective measures, including imposing sanctions, to ensure that these illegal activities are not supported.
