Violations Of the Israeli occupation army against journalists and media freedoms during the month of August 2017

The Ministry of Information monitored 25 violations during the month of August 2017 against 15 journalists and one female journalist. Israeli occupation army violated all international covenants and resolutions, foremost of which was resolution 2222. Three Soldiers stormed media offices and seized their equipment. They also assaulted one journalist crew,  then closed headquarters of TV and Radio, raided and confiscated broadcasting equipment for radio and television. All of them are located in the Palestinian territories, and classified according to the bilateral agreements as areas “A”.
