Miri Regev continues her racism against the Arabs through the “Loyalty in Culture bill”

Israel’s Minister of Culture, Miri Regev (Likud), is working to amend the Culture and Arts Law to allow her Ministry to cancel or reduce budgets of cultural institutions, in parallel to the current authority of the Ministry of Finance, targeting the Arab cultural activities of the Palestinians in Israel.

The Law of Loyalty in Culture allows the Israeli authorities to reduce or cancel the budget of cultural institutions in full, in accordance with Regev’s considerations in her application of “Nakba Law.”

Regev initiative comes in the wake of the inability of the Israeli Ministry of Finance, led by Moshe Kahlon, to cancel or reduce the budgets of cultural institutions based on the laws of “Nakba” and “boycott.”
