The occupation detains 11 elected Palestinian Deputy Parliament in its prisons

According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Committee, the Israeli occupation authorities detain 11 members of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) in its prisons.

Since 2002, the Israeli occupation authorities have arrested, individually or in the context of mass campaigns, about 70 members elected by the Palestinian people, more than 50% of the total number of members of the Legislative Council, without charge or trial.
