Israeli academic “The death sentence must be on field”

The Israeli channel 7 wrote; the Israeli Orientalist Dr. David Bukay, from Haifa University, commented on the intention of the Israeli Knesset to leglize the death penalty against Palestinian prisoners:

“The death sentence for the saboteurs is unnecessary; I want to kill them on the battlefield before they reach the court.”

The Israeli academic continued:

“Death on the field takes place in all countries, and we have done that many times in the past. That happens even in democratic countries. Anyone raises his hand must be killed.”
