In continuation of the settlement policy, Lieberman has approved an immediate plan to build thousands of settlements in the occupied West Bank

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has agreed to build more than 1,285 new housing units for immediate construction in more than 20 settlements in the West Bank.

According to the list of settlement units, which are expected to be approved, 433 units will be built in Ariel, 196 in Oranit, 166 in Emmanuel and 130 in Beitar Illit, 32 housing units in Hebron.

The army also added that Lieberman would ask to proceed with the construction of 2,500 new housing units in more than 20 locations.
