In the coming days, the Israeli Knesset will vote on a bill to impose Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank, as part of a series of laws that the Knesset has enacted to enforce Israeli laws on settlements.

The bill, submitted by MK Yo’av Kish, follows the visit by Vice President Mike Bens to Israel and his speech in the Knesset, in which he announced Washington’s support for all steps and actions taken by Israel.

The Likud Central Committee voted a month ago to impose Israeli sovereignty over all settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
