A UN Official Calls on Israel to Release all Palestinian children or Let them Appear Before Court Immediately

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein called on Israel to release all Palestinian children who were arrested by IOF, or  let them appear before court immediately. He said that during a meeting on the night of July 24, 2018, at the United Nations headquarters, which discussed the rights of the Palestinian people.

“Hundreds of Palestinian children are being held by Israel, some without charges under the administrative detention system, in violation of basic human rights,” he said.
