Pictures – Occupation Destroys a Natural Reserve and Water Wells in Hebron

On Thursday 4-7-2019, Occupation authorities razed large parts of a natural reserve of al-Daqeqa east of Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank. They also demolished 4 waters wells in the reserve.

It is worth mentioning that the reserve is of 150 dunums nearing the racist separation wall. It was established 10 years ago with the help of foreign institutions in order to protect lands from settlement. This natural reserve is planted with 5 thousand trees, resided by 250 Palestinian workers who work in agriculture and animal husbandry. It has a school and health care clinic, but its residents have been threatened with deportation under the pretext of Israel security.
