Knesset Member Zvi Fogel, from Netanyahu’s coalition: “The occupation of the West Bank is permanent, and Israel has the right to annex”

Knesset member Zvi Fogel, of the “Otzma Yehudit” party, a partner in Netanyahu’s government, said that the Israeli occupation of the West Bank is “permanent” and Israel has the “right” to annex areas in the West Bank.

Fogel told Radio FM 103 on Sunday 1-1-2023: “I extremely hope that Israel will be able to defend its rights in the places where we are allowed to annex and settle, and I hope that this will be expressed in the future.”

In his response to a question about whether “the occupation is permanent or not?”, Fogel replied “I cannot discuss the facts, and until this moment it is permanent, and I want to continue to establish sovereignty over all areas where I can.”

“I recognize Israel’s right to impose sovereignty in order to stop giving in to types of people that never existed and have suddenly appeared,” he added.
