Affirming that the state of the occupation with all its political, military and religious institutions is a settlement state that aims to take over Palestinian land, a leader of the West Bank battalion in the Israeli army, General Avi Balout, handed in military leaders a book calling for “salvage of land” in the West Bank and encouraging them to take over Palestinian land.
Balout handed in the book to his officers during a meeting about “elements of safety feeling in the settlements”.
The book’s title is “We have in the Tapu: Secrets of Saviors of Lands Since our Father Abraham untill Youth Sentiment”.
The term of “Youth settlement” is a name used by settler for random settlement outposts that were located in private Palestinian lands with the support of the Israeli Government.
Balout wrote “a gift to officers, this will help them understand the status of the lands in the West Bank”.
The writer of the book Leor Zebrg works in the field of purchasing lands in the West Bank, and is a well-known person in the settlements. He describes himself saying “I give consultants to initiators, societies and authorities and also to inheritors who find old property documents”.
The general Balout wrote to his officers “Our dear officers, in order to defend this land in Judea and Samria, we need to cooperate and to have information beside your military job. settlement and the status of land are one of these fields .. which needs knowledge for integrated tasks”.
