Gaza has the highest rate of child amputations per capita globally

The Palestinian Ministry of Health noted that the Gaza Strip now has the highest rate of child amputations per capita globally, with more than 5,000 people having undergone amputations during the Israeli offensive on the Strip, according to a report published by the World Health Organization (WHO) in early October.
