Nablus, March 14, 2026 – A young Palestinian man was killed on Saturday evening, and two others were wounded by live fire, while another was assaulted, during an attack by settlers on the town of Qusra, south of Nablus.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of Amir Mu’tasim Mahmoud Odeh, 28, who was shot by settlers in Qusra.
Medical sources reported that Odeh died from a gunshot wound to the chest, while two others were wounded by live fire in the knee and thigh. The father of the deceased was also assaulted during the settler attack on the town. The mayor of Qusra reported that armed settlers attacked the Karak area west of the town, firing live ammunition at homes and young men. Four Palestinians were wounded by live fire and beatings and were taken to the Al-Jazair Medical Center in the town for treatment. Later, a young man named Amir and another wounded individual were transferred to Rafidia Governmental Hospital, where they received CPR and were pronounced dead.
With the death of Awda, the number of Palestinians killed by settler gunfire and attacks since the beginning of this month has risen to seven. Settlers have carried out more than 192 attacks during the past two weeks of war and prevailing regional tension.
The number of Palestinians killed by settler gunfire since the beginning of this year has reached eight, while the total since October 7, 2023, has risen to 44, amid escalating settler attacks on Palestinian villages, towns, and communities in the West Bank.
