Israeli Justice Minister Calls For Annexing C Area in the West Bank

In the interview published by the Atlantic magazine on Tuesday 9-10-2018, Israeli justice minister, Elit Shaked, said that she supports annexing area “C” to Israeli sovereignty,

in tune with previous statements by Israeli minister of education, Neftali Bennet, who had also called for annexing this area, that witnesses a growing settlement activities despite the fact the 100,000 Palestinians live in it.

The area “C” constitutes about 63% of the occupied West Bank, and is subject to Israeli security and civil control.
