Extremist settlers organized a march in the Old City of Jerusalem

Hundreds of settlers organized a march on the streets of occupied East Jerusalem lately in the evening of Monday, July 31, 2017, commemorating what so-called “temple ruin.” The march passed through Damascus Gate, Herod’s Gate and Lions’ Gate towards Dung Gate to the Western Wall “Al-Buraq Wall”, for special rites and prayers. During the march, the participating settlers raised the Israeli flags as they blew the trumpet.

Israel’s Deputy Minister of War, Rabbi Eli Ben Dahan, called the Israeli government not to lenience in the need to impose full Israeli sovereignty over the Temple Mount and build the Temple.

“The next goal is to make the holy site a place for different religious readings,” said MK Yehuda Glick. “We must build the Temple; it is the salvation of humanity.”
