On 8 December 2017, a Palestinian resident of Hebron heard a person crying out in pain on Wadi al-Tufah Street, Hebron. He began filming Israeli soldiers beating a Palestinian young man. Demonstrations were held that day across the Occupied Territories, including in Hebron, to protest U.S. President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
