A new violation – another ambulance officer is martyred by the Israeli occupation fire

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that the ambulance officer, Mohammed Sobhi al-Jadaily, 36 years is martyred. He was wounded while performing his humanitarian duty on 3/5/2019 in the northern Gaza Strip, with a metal bullet in his nose leading to fractures in his skull.

The constant targeting of ambulance crews by the Israeli occupation army is a grave violation to the rules of international humanitarian law, in particular the Fourth Geneva Convention, which imposes special protection for hospitals and medical staff working there, and the ambulance crews, according to articles (16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21) of the Fourth Geneva Convention.
