Minister Amichai Shekli Calls for Strengthening Settlements and Describes the Palestinian Authority as the Enemy

During a tour of settlements in the northern West Bank, Minister Amichai Shekli, a member of Netanyahu’s government, stated: “We must say some things very, very, very clearly. First and foremost, it must be said that the Oslo Accords led to one disaster after another, and the classification of Areas A, B, and C is neither important nor relevant. What is relevant is the Land of Israel.”

Shekli added: “Wherever conditions on the ground allow us to establish another settlement outpost and hold onto the land for agricultural and settlement purposes.”

Shekli then attacked the Palestinian Authority, saying: “The Palestinian Authority is the enemy. It is the enemy.”
