The artist Zainab Al-Qolaq from the Gaza Strip changed the anniversary of losing 22 members of her family as a result of Israeli occupation airstrikes against the residential building inhabited by them into an art gallery in Gaza under the title of:
“I’m 22 year-old, I lost 22 family members”
Zainab wrote, commenting on the gallery “A year has passed! I’m provoked by the days passing and the sun of everyday. I’m still waiting to open my eyes as usual to see the smile of my mother and her extreme attention to me as a child. I’m eager to hug Hanaa. I used to stay at night with Ahmad who used to comfort me with his smiles. His laughs is still in my memory to an extent that compels me to search for him. I miss coffee with Taher while talking about a thousand of stories and to laugh. He was not an ordinary brother, I lost my elder brother and favorite friend. I memory cannot forget them, while my soul is still suffering”.
