Gideon Levy – an Israeli journalist affiliated with the Israeli left: He says that there are three basic principles that govern the Israeli occupation

1- Most or all Jews strongly believe that the Jews are God’s chosen people and we have the right to do whatever we want.

2- There have been more brutal occupations throughout the ages, but there has never been an occupation that described itself as the only victim

3- Systematically stripping the Palestinians of their humanity, is what makes us live in peace because if the Palestinians were stripped of their humanity, there would be no issue of human rights, and this is the most dangerous principle.
