An Israeli-Palestinian poll: 45% of those who are between the river and the sea believe that “apartheid” is an appropriate description of the existing regime in the region

The results of a survey published by B’Tselem showed that 45% of residents between the river and the sea say that the term “apartheid” is an appropriate or very appropriate definition to describe the Israeli regime, and that a large majority of Palestinians who participated in the survey believe that apartheid is an appropriate definition (57% is very appropriate and – 18% is somehow appropriate – nearly three quarters)

The poll indicated that the majority of Palestinians (58%) and a third of Israelis (32%) believe that Israel intends to annex the West Bank.

Not surprisingly, only a tiny minority believes that Israel is serious about reaching a two-state solution.
