Israel breathes extremism.. Price tag groups to brutalize the Palestinians of the West Bank

Since their emergence in 2008, the extremist Israeli “price tag” groups have left their signatures at the scene of their crimes against the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank through phrases such as:

“Death to the Arabs”, “Revenge” and “Forced displacement”.

The “price tag” groups carry out attacks on Palestinian property, and deliberately leave racist signatures and slogans at the site of their operations concentrated in different areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

The members of these groups use terrorist methods and ways in the acts of violence they practice against the Palestinians and their property, including closing roads, damaging and burning cars, fields, trees, mosques and churches, throwing stones, and other acts of violence.

Perhaps the most prominent violations committed by one of the “price tag” groups years ago was the burning of a house belonging to the Palestinian “Dawabsheh” family in the village of “Duma” south of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The victim of the attack was an infant and his parents who were burned after Israeli extremists threw Molotov cocktails at their home while they were sleeping.

The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported on July 31, 2015, that the perpetrators of the crime were from the “Price Tag” group, as they left slogans such as “Revenge” and “Long Live the Messiah King”, and drew the Star of David on the outside wall of the burned house.

The “Messiah King” is considered by Jews to be the last king from the lineage of the Prophet David, who will establish the last kingdom of God, according to Jewish mythology.

The “Price Tag” group was established in July 2008, with the aim of seizing Palestinian lands, abusing Palestinians, and preventing them from resisting the Israeli occupation, especially in the settlements of the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The year 2006 witnessed the birth of “Price Tag” as a theoretical idea in a booklet by the “Jewish Communism… Spirit and Heroism for the Land of Israel” movement; But the movement was actually formed in 2008. Haaretz confirmed on January 13, 2024, that “the organization’s goal is to change the settlers’ intellectual system in order to achieve the greatest possible gains.” It explained that the extremist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich is also one of the movement’s founders.
